Copy and Paste Single Structures with Ctrl+C-V

You can copy and paste single structures by pressing the Ctrl+C button combination in Excel, then pressing the Ctrl+V button combination in another MS Office application if the General/Event Handling/Keyboard Events option has been set to True.

 

1. On an Excel worksheet select a cell containing a structure and press Ctrl+C, then open PowerPoint, Word or Outlook and press Ctrl+V. Live structure will be pasted to current application, which can be edited by double-clicking on it, if the JChem tab, Options button, "General/Event Handling/Mouse Events/Double-click Opens Structure Editor" option (in PowerPoint or Word) has been set to True.

2. You can Ctrl+C an IDSYSStructure on an Excel worksheet, then Ctrl+V into another MS Office application. Live structure together with the ID will be pasted to current application, which can be edited by double-clicking on it, if the JChem tab, Options button, "General/Event Handling/Mouse Events/Double-click Opens Structure Editor" option (in PowerPoint or Word) has been set to True.
