Copy and Paste with IDs

It is possible to copy and paste from a sheet, which contains IDs associated with structures and a few columns with data (see more about IDs associated with data in (Import from DBs by IDs, Associate IDs, Import from File by IDs and IDSYSStructure function topics). You can do this with the same possibilities as in case of general structures and data:

The following scenarios are supported:

 

 

  1. Create a file, which contains IDs associated with structures and a few columns with data (see more about IDs associated with data in (Import from DBs by IDs, Associate IDs, Import from File by IDs and IDSYSStructure function topics).

  1. Select the IDSYSStructure column and other columns you would like to copy to other MS Office applications.
  2. Press Copy Copy ribbon or right-click button in ribbon.

  1. Change to a Word, PowerPoint or Outlook document and position the cursor somewhere in the document. Please note that in OneNote the whole table can be copied but only the first structure will be pasted in the document.
  2. Press Paste Paste ribbon or right-click menu item button.
  3. The structures and corresponding data are pasted in a table to the opened document (in this case PowerPoint), IDs are displayed in the same cells under the structure.
