  1. Database tables

Show Only Favourite Database Tables:

The default value of this option is FALSE. In this case the Show only favourites check-box is unselected by default on the Import from Database form (see as well here) and all tables and views are shown in the list.

You can change the value of the Show only favourite tables option to TRUE. In this case the Show only favourites check-box is selected by default on the Import from Database form and only favourite tables and views are shown in the list.

  1. Field Filtering

This option is very useful when you are importing files having the same columns or importing database tables having the same fields regularly. Here you can select an .xml file, which shows the rules for selecting the required fields to be imported, this way this selection doesn't need to be repeated each time.

A default .xml file can be selected here, which defines the fields to be imported to a database.

  1. Oracle

To connect to an Oracle database the following providers can be selected:

The technical possibility is available for the users to have access and run a search not only in their own, but other users' tables as well (e.g. for administrators), if the access rights are configured properly. The default value for this option is FALSE, so the tables of other user's will not be displayed in the list. This option is valid only for Oracle tables.

Form.ImportfromDatabase.OtherUsers

You can specify with this option if you would like to display database synonyms in your database connection list. The default value is FALSE, if you change it to TRUE database synonyms will be listed together with tables and views. This option is valid only for Oracle database connections.
