Basic function for displaying molecules in JChem for Excel is JCSYSStructure dealing with rendering the molecule based on a link (hash) which points to a special sheet containing the full length of the molecule.

Structure functions display an image of the result structure in the target cell. The main difference between Image and Structure functions is, that Structure functions could be reused as the input for other functions as well.
