Note:  JChem Base tables could be created using JChem Manager, or Instant JChem.

  1. Checking the check box next to the connection retrieves the available tables, views and their columns from the database. Database table names will be displayed in alphabetical order. If you are authorized to view other user's schemas, the system displays them in a similar way than Oracle SQL Developer.
  2. Checking the checkbox next to the column in the tree selects the column for import. Only one database or table can be selected for import and only the columns of the selected table can be selected for the import.
  3. Check the node of the database.
  4. Check the node of the table to import. (Please, note that only one database or table can be selected, and only columns from this table can be imported.)
  5. If CD_STRUCTURE column is not selected, then no structures will be displayed on the sheet. Only the column named CD_STRUCTURE is considered as Structure column.
  6. In case of views, it is not possible to recognize the indexed columns from schema, therefore all possible search methods are displayed. You have to select manually both the search method and the column with structure.
